Its objective is to strengthen the business fabric of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria as an economic engine and benchmark in the Atlantic, generating new business opportunities, growth and international visibility for local nautical services.<\/p>\n<p>The programme, with a marked technological focus, will offer a schedule of presentations that demonstrate how innovation is transforming the sector, also incorporating experiences from leading regions such as the Basque-French coast.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will begin at 6 p.m. with an institutional welcome, followed by presentations from leading companies and experts:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Mr Juhane Dascon, representing ESTIA (Higher School of Advanced Industrial Engineering, France), who will address nautical science and technology transfer in peripheral areas, focusing on how to innovate far from the major centres of innovation.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Mr. Carlos Acosta, CEO of Bluematt Ingenier\u00eda Subacu\u00e1tica, will present the topic of \u2018biofouling,\u2019 a silent threat.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Mr. Luis Pe\u00f1a, CEO of Lurtis AI, will discuss applications of Artificial Intelligence and language models in maintenance in the shipping and industrial sectors.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Mr. Sergi Ros\u00e9s, from Electric Inside Boats, will share his experience in converting recreational boats to zero emissions.<\/p>\n<p>The event will conclude with a networking and professional exchange space, promoting connections between the different agents in the nautical ecosystem.
