{"id":14479,"date":"2026-07-02T11:16:25","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T10:16:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/interregmac.org\/events\/mini-copa-africa-tenerife-2026\/"},"modified":"2026-07-02T11:27:31","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T10:27:31","slug":"mini-copa-africa-tenerife-2026","status":"publish","type":"ajde_events","link":"https:\/\/interregmac.org\/en\/events\/mini-copa-africa-tenerife-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"COMPASS &#8211; Tenerife Africa Mini Cup 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MINI COPA \u00c1FRICA TENERIFE 2026 is a sporting and cultural project that aims to bring together young people, communities and cultures through football, promoting values such as inclusion, respect, harmony and sporting talent.<br \/>\nThe event will take place on the island of Tenerife, at the El Cantillo football ground (Tacoronte), from 29 June to 11 July 2026, and will feature teams from Cape Verde, The Gambia, Morocco, Mauritania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Guinea and the Canary Islands.<br \/>\nThis tournament represents much more than just football. It is an opportunity to strengthen ties between cultures, support young talent, present a positive image of the African community in Tenerife and highlight the warm welcome offered by the people of the Canary Islands.<br \/>\nThis initiative is supported by the UD Las Palmas Canary Islands Foundation, through the CONVIDA Project; the Sansof\u00e9 Campus at the University of La Laguna (ULL); the \u201cAqu\u00ed estamos migrando\u201d Association; the Seneball Association; and the UD Tacoronte football club.<br \/>\nCasa \u00c1frica is collaborating as part of the European COMPASS project, which takes a comprehensive approach to the phenomenon of migration at both its point of origin and destination.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":30,"featured_media":14414,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"rs_blank_template":"","rs_page_bg_color":"","slide_template_v7":""},"tags":[],"event_type":[],"event_type_2":[],"class_list":["post-14479","ajde_events","type-ajde_events","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
