Kohesio: discover EU projects in your region
Did you know that you can find out which projects have been funded by the European Union in your community? Kohesio is a digital platform that provides easy and visual access to thousands of initiatives funded by the European cohesion policy.
Through an interactive map and a keyword search engine, anyone can explore projects related to employment, innovation, environment, infrastructure or social inclusion, among many other areas.
This tool brings together information on national and regional programmes financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the Cohesion Fund and the European Social Fund, as well as territorial cooperation programmes such as INTERREG.
Kohesio highlights the concrete impact of cohesion policy, which aims to reduce inequalities between territories and move towards a greener, more digital and cohesive Europe.

We invite you to discover a unique opportunity if you are interested in journalism and want to know how the European Union transforms the regions.
Youth4Regions is the European Commission’s programme that supports students and young journalists by offering them a unique experience: a week-long training in Brussels, mentoring by professional journalists and the opportunity to cover topics linked to EU cohesion policy.
Each year, those selected travel to the European capital during the “Week of the Regions” to participate in workshops, visits to institutions and meetings with experts. In addition, the best entries are eligible for prizes and career opportunities. The Interreg MAC programme promotes cooperation on migration and governance in the Macaronesian region and West Africa
Mr Julián Zafra, representing the MAC programme's Managing Authority, took part in a round table discussion, organised as part of the Interreg GO event, with representatives from other programmes and from the European Commission.
His speech focused on the importance of the migratory phenomenon in the geographical area covered by Interreg MAC, reaffirming the Programme's commitment to improving migration management and the socio-economic inclusion of migrants in its area of cooperation.
On the other hand, it highlighted the strategic Atlante project as a key platform for promoting shared governance between European regions and African partner countries, defining common priorities, in a context where coordination with NDICI funds is emerging as a crucial challenge.
The Interreg MAC Programme advocates strengthening the specific Interreg objectives, highlighting the need to redefine the role of governance as a cross-cutting priority and to increase support for the migration dimension in the face of the humanitarian and structural challenges affecting the region.
