A3MAtlantic – Innovation and co-creation workshop for projects linked to the blue economy industry in Fuerteventura

The Innovation and Co-creation Workshop for Projects linked to the Blue Economy Industry in Fuerteventura will take place on 8 June 2026 at the Fuerteventura Technology Park, as part of the A3MAtlantic project, coinciding with World Oceans Day, as a way of highlighting the importance of the sea for the sustainable development of the Canary Islands and creating a space for meeting, reflection and the joint development of new opportunities linked to the blue economy.

The conference is organised by the Canary Islands Agency for Research, Innovation and the Information Society (ACIISI), the Canary Islands Maritime Cluster and the Port Authority of Las Palmas, and aims to bring together businesses, public administrations, knowledge centres and sectoral bodies to identify challenges, opportunities and potential innovative projects capable of generating an impact on the non-capital islands of the archipelago.

Three thematic working groups will be held during the event:

• Sustainable blue tourism and innovative services linked to the sea.
• Innovation in the blue agri-food value chain.
• Energy transition and resilience of blue-coastal infrastructure.

Participation in these workshops will help identify potential lines of action and projects of common interest, as well as strengthen the connections between the various stakeholders within the A3M Alliance, as part of the activity “A1.1 Strategic positioning agenda for the blue economy, strengthening of the A3M Alliance and expansion in the Mid-Atlantic”.
