The main objective of this forum is to generate contacts and synergies between Africa and Spain, as well as to promote new business opportunities and joint projects in the new technologies market, a sector of great importance for the development of our economies.
Emphasis will be placed on the potential of new technologies in Africa, its current strategic plans in this area, and success stories in Spain and the invited countries will be presented.
We will have representatives from Mauritania, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Ghana, which have leading technology centres.
The specific objectives of this forum are:
To raise awareness of technological solutions developed in West Africa and their potential for global scaling.
To facilitate public-private partnerships and investment agreements between Canarian/Spanish actors and the invited countries.
To share transformative public policies that promote inclusive digitalisation.
To position the Canary Islands as a hub of innovation and a gateway to Europe for African start-ups.
