The Department of Tourism and the Environment at La Oliva Town Council, headed by David Fajardo Junckersdorf, and as part of the BIO ECO-TUR project (Interreg MAC Programme), invites you to take part in the free workshop on community and home composting, an activity designed to raise public awareness of the benefits of composting and its importance for protecting the environment.

That soil is a living ecosystem and that millions of microorganisms transform organic waste into a valuable resource.
That organic matter is not waste, but the start of a new life cycle, and that composting is one of the simplest and most effective ways to reduce waste.
How soil rich in organic matter retains water better, improves its fertility and promotes the growth of healthier plants.
That anyone can start composting at home with some basic knowledge and very simple materials, without being afraid to take the first step.
How community composting fosters collaboration, learning and a commitment to our environment.
And, above all, that every small gesture helps to close the natural cycle of matter and build a more sustainable local community.
