The event ‘I Transnational Technical Meeting – Bio Eco-Tur’ will be held in San Miguel de Abona, Tenerife, from 7 to 9 May 2025.
The event will start in the facilities of the Town Hall of San Miguel de Abona with the reception of the Mayor of the municipality, the town councils that make up the Comarca Chasna Isora and members of the Board of Directors of the Association.
Also on the first day, a ‘Technical Seminar’ will be held in which, first, the project and the agenda will be presented and then the partners will present green and blue infrastructures of their regions that can be replicated in other areas of Macaronesia and Africa.
Over the three days, the partners will visit the following green and blue infrastructures on the island of Tenerife: ‘Finca Las Crucitas’ in Granadilla de Abona, the ‘Paseo Marítimo y el Charco de Archiles’ in San Miguel de Abona, ‘La huerta grande’ in Vilaflor, the ‘Bosque comestible’ in Adeje, ‘Serviagroc’ in Guía de Isora, as well as the coastline of the latter municipality.
Thursday will include ‘Working Tables’ related to the analysis of the situation of green and blue infrastructures in Macaronesia and Africa and on Friday the ‘1st Follow-up Committee’ will be held to outline the implementation of the following Bio Eco-Tur activities.
