ARDITI, together with the Main Beneficiary, the University of La Laguna, of the IMPLAMAC CAPITALIZAÇÃO project and all the members of its research team, are pleased to invite you to the public presentation of the aforementioned project, which will take place on 23 February 2026, at 10 a.m., in the Amphitheatre Room of the Jesuit College.
The session will feature speeches by Dr. João Canning-Clode, coordinator of ARDITI’s MARE-Madeira, Professor Javier Hernández Borges, Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of La Laguna and Principal Investigator of the project, and the Regional Director for the Sea and the Environment, Engineer Manuel Ara Oliveira.
The project ‘Strengthening and implementation of microplastic monitoring methodologies in Macaronesia and their territorial transfer’, funded by the INTERREG MAC 2021-2027 Programme, 85% co-financed by the ERDF, is coordinated by the University of La Laguna and has as partners the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Regional Secretariat for the Sea and Fisheries (Regional Directorate for Maritime Policies), ARDITI, the University of Cape Verde and Gaston Berger University (Senegal).
The event will be held in Portuguese and Spanish.
