On 12 January 2026, the institutional presentation of the project CONSERVATION AND RESILIENCE OF MACARONESIAN ISLAND PALM GROVES THROUGH GENETIC TECHNIQUES, GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND PREDICTIVE MODELS (PALMAC_2CAP), funded by the Interreg Mac 2nd call for proposals, 2021-27.
The Honourable and Magisterial Rector of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Mr. Lluís Serra Majem, will preside over the event, which will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the La Palmita facilities located on the Tafira University Campus. Representatives from all the Canarian institutions participating in the project will be present: the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, and Gestión y Planeamiento Territorial y Medioambiental S.A.
