The International Seminar “Science, Territory and Risks – Decoding the impacts of climate change on the territory” will take place at the University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV), in the city of Praia, from 26 to 29 May 2026. The event brings together researchers, experts and institutions from the Azores, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde, as part of the PRISMAC project, funded by the Interreg MAC 2021–2027 programme, strengthening scientific cooperation in the analysis of geomorphological risks in island contexts.

The programme begins on 26 May at 09:00 with the opening ceremony at the Uni-CV Media Library. On 27 May, also at 09:00, the scientific colloquium dedicated to geomorphological risks on volcanic islands will take place. The technical training sessions and practical activities will begin on 28 May at 9.00 am and continue until 29 May, also starting at 9.00 am, with a field trip to the island of Santiago.
