The aim of these technical workshops in Cape Verde is to present the project to local stakeholders and promote their involvement in the initiative through two main areas: training in specialised veterinary care for wildlife and presenting the experience of the Canary Islands’ recovery centres. The aim is to strengthen local technical capacities while sharing the experience and lessons learned in the Canary Islands as a reference for promoting the creation of a model adapted to the Cape Verdean context.
