The objective of these technical workshops is to identify the territorial, technical and training needs associated with the creation of wildlife recovery centres in Senegal, actively involving the local community in the process. Through a participatory approach, diagnostic activities will be carried out in the field, specialised training will be provided and awareness-raising actions will be targeted at both technical actors and the local population, with the aim of strengthening existing capacities, promoting social ownership of the project and laying the foundations for a sustainable conservation model adapted to the specific context of each territory.
