TEXTIL - Textiles in the Azores: Past, Present and Future

Event dedicated to raising awareness on textile waste and sustainability, with a focus on the reality of the Azores. One of the topics we are interested in addressing will be the characterisation of the reality of textile waste in the Azores, as well as the legal provisions governing its management, examples of past management and perspectives and ideas for the future.

The target audience of the event will be future multipliers, youth animators, mayors, leaders of institutions and young people, and will involve the participation of the Azorean partners of this project, namely the Regional Directorate of Environment and Climate Action, the University of the Azores, the Gaspar Frutuoso Foundation and will be organised by AJITER.
