The Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (ITC) has presented the first brine recovery pilot plant housed in the Desal+ Living Lab test bench. This action is part of the IDIWATER project (Increasing applied research, innovation and public-private knowledge transfer in the industrial water sector by sharing resources) and represents a significant step towards more efficient and sustainable water management.

The initiative seeks to advance in innovative solutions to transform waste into a resource, through technologies that allow added value to be given to the brine generated in desalination processes.
