The Interreg MAC 2021–2027 Programme is strengthening its Joint Secretariat with the recruitment of three new staff members, doubling its team to improve the management, monitoring and communication of cooperation projects.

The new recruits comprise two project management officers – one of whom specialises in FEDER/IVCDCI projects – and one communications officer.

These professionals join the existing team, comprising a coordinator, two project management and communications officers, and an administrative assistant, forming a Joint Secretariat of seven people that will enable the programme to provide stronger support to beneficiary organisations and to disseminate the results of cooperation between the outermost regions of Europe and partner African countries.
