The Cabildo de La Palma has held a conference on environmental quality and sustainability of the island territory. Organised within the framework of the RESMAC project (Strategic and Innovative Renewable Energies to promote the transition to climate neutrality in Macaronesia), the meeting brought together technical staff, public officials and representatives of social entities to reflect on the challenges and opportunities in terms of environmental sustainability.

The conference addressed key issues such as the sustainable management of resources, territorial planning and the importance of environmental data as a tool for decision-making. This type of initiative helps to strengthen technical cooperation between regions and to advance towards a more balanced and environmentally friendly development.
