We are pleased to inform you that the Interreg Volunteer Youth_IVY initiative has been officially extended until 31 December 2027.

IVY is a European Commission initiative that aims to promote cooperation by achieving the following three goals:

1. Support cooperation – Supporting cooperation projects thanks to the involvement of motivated young people.
2. Make cooperation visible – Making the benefits of cooperation more visible among local communities and beyond.
3. Empower youth – Empowering young people to engage in cooperation.

Each volunteering experience lasts from 2 to 6 months and volunteers receive a financial contribution that covers their cost of living. The IVY initiative is financed by the European Union and the Association of European Border Regions.

Through IVY, selected young people participate as volunteers in Interreg programmes and projects, contributing to building a strong and united Europe in the regions where they are active.
